Snapari

Every card exists exactly once

Snap a real animal.
Mint a one‑of‑one card.

Point your camera at the fox in the alley, the heron on the pier, the cat that owns your street. Press the shutter and Snapari mints it into a collectible trading card — with its own art, its own powers, and a serial number no one else will ever hold.

The loop

Three seconds of your walk home, turned into something you keep.

No monsters hidden on a map. No spawn points. The creature has to actually be there, in front of you, and you have to actually see it.

  1. Find something alive

A pigeon on a ledge. A dog in the park. A heron you nearly walked past. Snapari only mints real, living animals — no toys, no statues, no photos of photos. Half the game is learning to notice.

  2. Press the shutter

Frame it and snap. That costs one Roll. Then the wait — a few seconds where you genuinely do not know what is about to come back.

  3. Watch it mint

The reveal escalates with what you got. A Common lands quietly. An Aura takes its sweet time. Then the card is yours — its art, its powers, its serial, and a name you get to give it exactly once.

If a mint fails, you keep the Roll. Point the camera at something that isn’t an animal and Snapari just tells you so — it doesn’t charge you for the mistake.

Try it

Press the shutter.

This is the real drop table — the same odds printed below. Most of what you get will be Common. That is exactly why the other ones feel the way they do.

Your card lands here.
You will not know which one until it does.

The cards

Not a filter on your photo. A card.

Original art. A real stat line. Powers that actually do something in a fight. And a frame whose goldwork thickens the rarer it gets. Go on — tilt one.

Scarcity

The odds are printed. Right here.

Rarity is decided the instant you snap — and the frame dresses itself to match: thicker metal, denser filigree, a glow ring, and at the very top a crest. Gold at Legendary. Iridescent at Aura.

Snapari card rarity tiers and their drop odds
TierOddsRoughlyWhat the frame does
Common55%1 in 2A clean bracket at each corner. Nothing else.
Uncommon25%1 in 4A metal boss lands in the corner and the sheen starts to move.
Rare12%1 in 8A second bracket, leaf sprigs, and the outer glow ring lights up.
Epic5%1 in 20Filigree runs further down each edge; the foil turns properly holographic.
Legendary2.5%1 in 40Gold replaces the flat metal, and a crest mounts top and bottom.
Aura0.5%1 in 200The crest goes iridescent, a rainbow halo wraps the card, and sparks settle on the art.

A serial nobody else can hold

Your card is stamped with a number the moment it exists, and that number is yours alone. Two people snapping the same animal in the same second still walk away with two different cards.

Scarcity you can read

Open any card and it tells you how many of that element and tier exist in the whole world. Pull the first one ever and the card says so, forever.

Not an NFT. Not an investment.

There is no blockchain, no wallet, no resale, no monetary value. Cards live in Snapari, they trade for other cards, and that is the whole economy.

Eight elements

Same animal. Never the same card.

The creature in front of you narrows it down. Luck does the rest. A fox can come back Ember — and the next fox can come back Shade.

  • Ember

Heat, nerve and momentum. Burns what it touches, and keeps burning.

    Hero art · Red Fox

  • Tide

Patience with weight behind it. Drains, heals, and never quite stops moving.

    Hero art · Sea Otter

  • Bloom

Growth and stubbornness. Roots a foe in place and outlasts it.

    Hero art · Wild Rabbit

  • Spark

Speed above all. Cheap, fast hits that add up before you notice.

    Hero art · Hummingbird

  • Stone

The wall. Shields, resists, and refuses to be moved.

    Hero art · Pangolin

  • Gale

Arrives early and leaves first. Chills, disrupts, controls the tempo.

    Hero art · Barn Owl

  • Shade

What you only half-see. Bleeds damage out over turns.

    Hero art · Black Cat

  • Lumen

Bright and absolute. The big, expensive, decisive swing.

After the snap

The card is the start of it.

Snapari is a collecting game, not a photo filter. Everything below already ships.

  • The Bestiary

Your whole collection, sortable by element, rarity, species or the day you found it. Open any card full-screen and tilt it until the foil catches.

  • The Catch Map

A collector’s map of where each creature came from, pinned with its own card art. The route of every walk you took, drawn in animals.

  • The Arena

Turn-based squad battles: five creatures under a rarity budget, an eight-element advantage wheel, energy costs and real tactics. Climb a ladder of bosses.

  • Trading

One-for-one swaps with friends. You put a card up, they put a card up, and both sides commit. Cards trade for cards — never for money.

  • Your Animaster

Build the animal that represents you: species, build, personality, and gear earned with AniGold. It follows your name everywhere in the game.

  • Badges & rankings

Around fifty heraldic achievement crests, plus a collection score that rewards breadth over spam — only your best card of each species counts.

Rolls

One Roll, one snap.

A Roll is what a capture costs. You start with a handful, more arrive every week, and you can always earn more without paying — the subscription just means you stop rationing them.

Questions

The things everyone asks.

And a few they should.

What is Snapari?

Snapari is an iPhone game about the animals around you. You photograph a real, living animal and Snapari mints it into a collectible trading card with its own artwork, element, stats, powers and serial number. You collect them, battle with them and trade them with friends.

Do I need to find rare animals to get rare cards?

No. Rarity is drawn when you snap, not decided by the animal. A pigeon can come back as an Aura card — the rarest tier in the game — and a wolf can come back Common. What the animal influences is which of the eight elements the card lands on.

What does "one-of-one" actually mean?

Every card you mint is stamped with a serial number that belongs only to that card. Nobody else has it and nobody ever will. It is a guarantee of scarcity inside Snapari — it is not property, not an investment, and there is no blockchain or NFT involved.

Is Snapari free?

Yes. Snapari is free to download and free to play. Captures cost Rolls; you get starter Rolls when you sign in, more arrive every week, and you can earn extra by watching an optional ad. An optional subscription (US$7.99 per month or US$59.99 per year) adds 30 Rolls a month and removes ads you did not ask for.

What are the odds of a rare card?

The published launch odds are Common 55%, Uncommon 25%, Rare 12%, Epic 5%, Legendary 2.5% and Aura 0.5% — about one Aura in every two hundred captures. The odds are printed in the app and on this page.

What happens to my photos?

A captured photo is used to create your card and is deleted after the card is generated. Snapari keeps the finished card art, not your original photograph. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Can I capture my own pet?

Absolutely, and most people do it first. Your cat, your dog, the fish in your tank — anything real and alive counts. Toys, plushies, statues and animals on a screen do not, and if a capture is rejected for that reason you keep the Roll.

Can I sell or cash out my cards?

No. Cards can be traded one-for-one with friends inside the app, never gifted or sold. Cards and Rolls have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or moved outside Snapari.

Do I need an internet connection?

You need a connection to mint a new card. Your existing collection is cached on your device, so your Bestiary opens instantly and works offline.

How old do I have to be?

Snapari is rated 13+ and is for players aged 13 and over.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Snapari is built natively for iPhone so the camera, the reveal animations and the haptics feel the way they should. Android is not currently available.

How do I delete my account?

Open the Bestiary tab, tap the profile icon in the top right, scroll to the Danger Zone and choose Delete Account. That permanently removes your collection and account data. It does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that in Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions.
